For our first gig in Europe, we had the honor of opening for New Jersey legend Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes at Paradiso in Amsterdam. A former church, Paradiso is a beautiful room with amazing acoustics, and a packed house of over 1000 welcomed The Defibulators, kicking off our tour in style.
by the way, we have chickens in the back yard. we eat their eggs.

The NY Premiere of the film SKIPTRACERS (featuring music of The Defibulators, Langhorne Slim, and more!) will be at Village East Cinema followed by a Defibs concert at Webster Hall on Friday Sept 11, 2009! Free Colt 45 before the screening!

The film also features a small cameo by Bug Jennings. (can you spot him in the poster?)
FRIDAY SEPT 11th
1. 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm- Free Colt 45 that’s right – it works everytime! Colt 45 is sponsoring an opening party at Finnerty’s at 221 2nd Avenue between 13th and 14th. Come have a few Colt’s on us.
2. 7:00- 9:00 – The movie and a short Q & A afterwards. Get tickets to the premiere at the Village East Cinema. The theatre is at 189 2nd avenue -two blocks from Finnerty’s. Tickets are available at the box office and here http://www.villageeastcinema.com/
3. 9:00 – until? - Join us for an after party at The Studio at Webster Hall. The Defibulators will perform along with some special guests. Webster Hall is located at 125 East 11th St. between 3rd and 4th Avenue. It’s about a 4 minute walk from the theatre. There is a 5 dollar cover for this show.
SKIPTRACERS is at the Village East Cinema (189 2nd Ave. @12th street) from SEPTEMBER 11 – 17TH, 2009 so if you can’t make it to the premiere, go see it during the week. It’s playing 4 times a day.
