Our next show (and possibly last of the year) in NYC is gonna be a special one. We’re happy to be a part of the inaugural Brooklyn Americana Festival in Dumbo. As you may know, DUMBO is an acronym for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass, and that is the precisely the exact location where we’re playing. If you haven’t seen a show or hung out under the archway in Dumbo before, do it at 8pm on September 26th. Free admission..

We’re proud of her and we hope you like her too.

But if you want to hold her in your arms, you gotta find us at a show.
Or then again, you can always order her right here in our shop.
Take good care of her.

Next Monday night, we’ll be playing in support of the release of the 7″ single ‘Obama’ by the band CORPORAL.
This unpredictable, post anti-folk band features our friend and drummer extraordinaire Ray Rizzo (Dawn Landes, Less The Band, Glen Hansard),
and actor Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire, Revolutionary Road). Here’s a couple recent articles about them on IFC.com and Uproxx.
Bring it on down! This is gonna be a fun one. (Superjam anyone?!?)

10pm The Defibulators
*Admission includes a copy of Corporal’s Obama 7″ which has 3 sweet Corporal recordings: a remix of Obama by Jim Smith, the band’s second rowdier recording of Obama and the booty-shaking Effortless.
