Ah, we sure do love them Colorado mountain towns…. The air is pristine, the views are stunning, and the people are not only friendly, but they have eccentric and unpredictable taste in music. With all humility though, we were indeed surprised and honored to make Chris Aaland’s top ten albums of 2010 in the Durango Telegraph. Nevermind that he slipped us in the number one spot! We’re humbled when anyone says good stuff about our music, much less rank it above rock legends. Suspend your disbelief and read the list here (scroll down after clicking). This gives us new meaning to Romance in Durango…

Djs Pancho & Lefty (aka Bug and T-Bone Bernardo) will be playing vintage country tracks and screening a classic episode of HEE-HAW tomorrow night (5/10) at Nita Nita in Williamsburg. It’s Mexabilly Monday at Nita, and Sam and the gang will be serving up Tex-Mex tapas specials (like mashed sweet taters w/ chorizo), and $4 Lone Star Margaritas (trust us on this one). Sip one in the garden, if we may suggest while listening to the golden country sounds. We’ll be there from 8pm on.

Anonymously Awesome Fan Letter Found on the Ambulance….

This creepily endearing love letter was recently found tucked under the windshield of our vanbulance. We were flattered and just a little bit scared by it. Whoever wrote it is officially our #1 fan and first official stalker. Congratulations. Thank you in advance for not murdering us…yet.
